Advance with Dance

These courses are designed for participants with additional needs, shaped by feedback from previous learners. Learners with additional needs expressed a desire not only to learn dance but also to “put on a show” and be involved in all aspects of a production.

Throughout the duration of the course, learners will create and deliver a performance piece, acquiring skills to showcase the entire event at the end of the course. The curriculum includes developing skills in makeup, costumes, audience management, scenery, props, and music. The final performance is recorded, and learners are involved in this process as well.

This course serves as an effective engagement tool for learners who may lack confidence in participating in traditional learning or who have difficulties with learning and embracing physical activities through conventional methods.
