We are also delighted to be delivering our Newcastle’s Best Winter Ever sessions starting 27th of December, for more details and to book your child’s space email clare@northeastdance.com. We have once again obtained funding from Durham County Council to deliver our FREE Adult Learning Courses to people 19 plus, living in County Durham. Our goal is to provide everyone in the community with support for both physical and mental wellbeing. We are active in some of the most deprived areas, and we aim to broaden our reach to ensure that our communities get the support and access to the provision they might need. Our available courses are Step Forward, Advance with Dance, Let’s All Boogie, HALO and Dare to be Aware. If you’re interested in what we can do for your centre or organisation, or looking for information about currently running courses in your area, please get in touch!

We wanted to share with you a quick update about all of our currently running projects. All activities and courses are FREE to attend and we would love to see some new faces in our sessions. Our Great Aycliffe and Middrige Partnership funded project ‘Connecting People’ is running until December this year with sessions at the PCP Centre, every Wednesday 6pm and at The Hub of Wishes, every Friday 11am, both centers are placed in Newton Aycliffe. We are hoping to bring the community together and reduce loneliness and isolation. ‘All the Single Ladies’ project funded by the NHS Connector Fund has started with a bang, and the registers are growing every week. We invite all girls and women in Spennymoor area to join us at the Spennymoor Community Centre every Wednesday at 3pm for a great dance and fitness session. We are dedicated to our work and would love for all of our community to access these wonderful projects!

We have started our annual summer provision for the Newcastle’s Best Summer Ever project. This year’s sessions are placed in Pottery Bank and Fawdon Community Centers. We are overwhelmed with the positive response and popularity of the activities with our lovely instructors Emily, Penny, and Jake. We love to see the impact we have on the local community and create good memories for so many children.
