Updates at North East Dance

‘All the single ladies’ - a new project of activity funded by the NHS Community Connector fund for women in County Durham will begin on July 27th in Spennymoor Community Centre and run all the way until April 2023. Sessions will consist of Dance, Fitness, Cardio & HiiT and Circuits. Every Wednesday 3pm-4pm with our lovely Emily.

We will be putting up classes in our wonderful Sunderland dance studio thanks to New Sport England funding! 'Step it up' is a project for women in the Sunderland area who want to improve their health and wellbeing and are looking for a chance to meet new people and socialise with others. We are delighted to be soon delivering our programme Dare to Be in the Newcastle area to children aged 5-12 years old thanks to the Operation Payback fund. During the delivery of Dare to Be a creative choreography will be taught alongside working with course materials to expand the children’s understanding of difficult subjects like bullying, mental health or cultural awareness and building their resilience.

North East Dance CIC are providing FREE Dance sessions over the Easter Holidays in various venues on the 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 19th, 20th, 21st and 22nd April. To book your child’s place please email clare@northeastdance.com

North East Dance are providing FREE dance sessions in four community centres in Newcastle as part of Newcastle’s Best Summer Ever! All children will also receive a FREE healthy lunch.
